The ground rules for exploring Rizicon and using its crosswalk planning tools.

Who operates Rizicon

The Rizicon Team operates the Rizicon project. This website presents the project, provides access to its beta application and accepts questions and expressions of interest. Use the contact form for questions about the project, your account or these terms.

A planning aid, currently in beta

Rizicon helps organise crosswalk information, compare risk indicators, explore suggested measures and plan budgets. Its beta features, datasets and calculations may be incomplete or change.

Scores, suggested measures, cost estimates and AI-generated outputs are advisory. They are not a certified road-safety audit, engineering design, legal opinion or confirmation that a crossing is safe. Qualified professionals must verify local conditions, measurements, current technical standards and approvals before any decision or works. Do not use Rizicon to report emergencies.

Accounts and city access

Use your own account, protect your credentials and access only the city workspaces and functions you are authorised to use. City administrators manage their teams within the permissions available to them. Contact management is restricted to Rizicon administrators.

Do not bypass access controls, disrupt the service, introduce malicious content or upload information you are not entitled to share. Report suspected account compromise through the contact form. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect the service, data or other users.

Your data and external services

You retain the rights you hold in the information you submit. You authorise its processing only as needed to operate the requested service and fulfil the applicable agreement. Keep appropriate copies of important records; a beta workspace is not your sole official archive.

Maps and other third-party data remain subject to their source licences and attribution requirements. Optional AI features send the requested context to the selected provider. Review outputs and avoid entering personal, confidential or restricted information unless your organisation has approved that use.

Indicative pricing and future hosting

The pricing page describes possible future hosting arrangements and annual EUR estimates for cities and organisations. It is for planning and discussion. This site has no checkout and does not take subscription payments. Using the calculator or sending a message does not place an order, start a paid subscription or create an automatic renewal.

Any future paid hosting or self-hosted deployment requires a separate agreement covering the provider, scope, licence, price, applicable taxes, payment, duration, cancellation, support and data handling. These beta terms do not establish those commercial arrangements or grant an unrestricted software licence.

Availability and responsibility

Beta access is provided without a promised availability level. We aim to correct reported problems, but cannot promise that every dataset, estimate or feature is accurate, complete or continuously available. Commercial service commitments apply only when agreed in writing.

Users and their organisations remain responsible for professional review, lawful data entry and decisions made using the service. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Applicable law and changes

Slovak law applies, together with applicable EU law. Mandatory rights and rules on court jurisdiction remain unaffected. Questions or disagreements should first be raised using the contact form.

The date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here. Any separately agreed service terms govern the matters they expressly cover.
