Build a budget plan

Turn candidate measures into a practical budget and review the assumptions behind it.

Compare the selected measures with your available budget and review their projected impact. Actual application interface with illustrative data.

Create and refine a plan

  1. Open the budget planner from the app sidebar using an analyst-capable account.

  2. Set a positive budget in euros. Add individual measures or run the automatic selection.

  3. Review the selected crossings and remove or add measures based on local priorities.

  4. Compare the total estimate, remaining budget and lower/upper cost range. The upper range may exceed the budget even if the estimate fits.

  5. Export a CSV copy for discussion and keep the assumptions alongside the decision.

How automatic selection works

The planner orders candidates by priority and adds each affordable item until the remaining budget cannot accommodate it. Each estimate uses the midpoint of its cost range. Measures whose cost is unknown are excluded from automatic candidates.

This is a priority-first selection method, not a guarantee of the mathematically best portfolio or a procurement quote. Review dependencies, feasibility, quantities and contingency yourself.

Keep a copy of your work

The web budget plan is stored in your browser. It is not a shared approval workflow and should not be treated as a centrally backed-up document. Export it before changing browser, clearing site data or handing work to a colleague.
