Reports and field work

Connect resident observations with inspections, triage and work orders.

Residents can choose a problem category and describe the location without an account. The screenshot shows an unsubmitted form.

Report a problem

  1. Open the issue form and choose a category: worn markings, lighting outage, damaged signage, obstruction, surface damage or other.

  2. Describe the observation and select the crossing when you know it. You may add a photo and a contact email.

  3. Use an image no larger than 5 MB. Avoid including bystanders or unnecessary personal information.

  4. Save the tracking code shown after submission. Enter that code on the tracking page to check the report later.

Triage as a city team

Authorised staff review reports for their assigned cities. The queue supports new, triaged, resolved and dismissed states. Public tracking uses citizen-safe outcome categories; internal free-text notes are not public tracking content.

  • Use inspections to prioritise checks and maintain current observations.
  • Use work orders to organise follow-up work and link it to crossings and reports where appropriate.
  • Field officers use the companion field workflow; their role does not unlock the analyst management workspace.

Use the right channel

Use Report an issue for a street observation, and Contact for a demo, hosting inquiry or partnership. The contact inbox is visible only to Rizicon administrators, not to each city team.
